Monuments and Memorials Committee

As a designated member of the Town’s Monuments and Memorials Committee, the LVA participated in the recent restoration of the Minuteman Statue on the Green, making recommendations to the Select Board. The Monuments and Memorials Committee worked with the World War II Commemoration Committee to obtain Select Board approval for a new plaque memorializing the 58 Lexington residents who died in World War II. This plaque will be dedicated on Veterans Day 2020.
